Love Letters Suite

Happy Valentine's Day ❤️🩷🤍🖤 This process video chronicles the making of my four-piece art installation, "Love Letters."

But it was so fun to make this set with multiple interactions, multiple letterpress printed pieces, and some takeaway pieces... truly my valentine to Cadillac.

The four pieces are a nod to our school Valentine’s days with some tiny printed cards and envelopes. A dry-erase word find with words of love. A public domain poem I printed called "The Kiss." And a giant valentine card you can open that has letterpress printing, a cutout back, a ribbon closure, and handmade paper that also appears collaged throughout the pieces.

This was cathartic to make, and I feel good putting this love out in the world. Go forth and take care of each other today and every day 💖💖💖
