The Hoxey Lady print was born from many years of friends riffing phrases that embraced our favorite festival and mashed it with popular songs or lyrics. We were all Hoxey Ladies. The year my son was born we were vendors for the last time out at Hoxeyville Music Fest. The now retired festival was where I grew up in some respects, where I started Charmellow in some ways, and where certain memories will live on forever.

Summer 2022, Josh and I were wildly prepping posters and prints for our booth. I came up with the idea to do a Lego plate of this idea and it took off from there. After a number of test plates and wonky looking foxes… The Jimi inspired fox for Hoxey Lady was born.

We fully inked the entire plate for each pressing, a feat that took hours haha. We printed only like 24 of of this print, and sold it out at the festival. The plate lives on, and a reprint may be in our futures.
